Delete your Uplifty Voice account
Last updated October 28, 2026
You can delete your account and every note in it whenever you like, from the app or by writing to us. Uplifty Voice is made by Uplifty, in Amsterdam.
In the app
Open Settings, then Account, then Delete account, then Delete everything. It is the same on Android and iPhone.
That removes your account and every note in it, on your phone and on our servers, in one step. The app offers to export your notes first, as text, CSV or JSON.
Without the app
Write to privacy@uplifty.me and ask us to delete your account. Send it from the email address you added to your account, so we know the account is yours. On Android, the account code under Settings, then Account, identifies it too.
We delete the account and everything tied to it within one month, which is what the law asks of us, usually within a few days, and write back when it is done.
If you never added an email and the app is no longer on your phone, nothing links that account to you, so we cannot find it to delete it. It holds no name or email address, and an account nobody uses is deleted automatically after 24 months.
What is deleted
- Your notes: transcripts, titles, labels and ratings.
- Your account: your email address if you added one, and any Apple or Google sign-in.
- Your minutes, the records of your transcriptions, and the record of when the app was opened.
- Any AI assistant you connected, with its activity log.
- Your Email me news choice and any feedback you sent from the app.
Recordings are never stored on our servers, so there are none to delete there.
What stays, and for how long
- Technical logs and backups at Supabase, which runs our database, expire on their own within 7 days.
- Emails you sent us stay in our mailbox until you ask us to delete them too. Say so in the same message.
- An App Store subscription is Apple’s, and deleting your account does not cancel it. Cancel it in your iPhone’s Settings, under your name, then Subscriptions.
